Photos of European Towns and Villages
James Derheim has spent a lifetime working as a genealogical detective with a camera. Beginning in 1989, James (a trained photojournalist) has photographed more than 4,000 unique locations for his clients in all of Europe, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom. This project is ongoing, with new towns and villages added regularly. As of now, only about 2 percent of the total archive has been uploaded. James lives in the medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany (photo at right). Enjoy the archive!
