James Derheim has spent a lifetime working as a genealogical detective with a camera. Beginning in 1989, James has photographed more than 4,000 unique locations for his clients in all of Europe, Scandinavia and the United Kingdom.
And now those images from his immense archive are presented here for your enjoyment and your use in your personal family history projects. This is a work in progress! The full uploading will take time. Towns and villages are added almost daily, so please check back often.

- Images are copyright protected but with your purchase you are granted a one time use for your personal genealogical project, web site, pamphlet, book, or other use to advance your hobby. Please credit European Focus, Inc. for any images used in either personal or commercial projects.
- A commercial enterprise such as a magazine or newsletter or other commercial use may purchase the use of a single image for $35.00 and I am trusting those representing commercial enterprises to honor this nominal fee request. (Contact me for details)
- Don’t see your ancestral town listed in the archive? Or, do you see a church with just one exterior photo and you want to see the inside as well? Simply request a new project, done just for you. The cost of this service starts at $250 per town or village.
